I write
because of a deep need
Drives me to allow the dancing spirit of my soul
That words- light dark, desperate, joyous rattle my mind for release
Celine Kingman
I write
To open doors that have been closed for too long
To feel a rhythm
That becomes a song
I didn’t know was
Ella Frances Sanderson
The girl who is shy,
the one at the back.
Might be having a struggle or an attack.
She isn’t the way you perceive her to be.
She is undiagnosed and has autism like me.
There are many girls who are denied who they are .
Leaving them mentally or physically scarred.
So don’t judge, or tell someone the person they should be.
Learn what’s within and help them grow.
To find their true selves and start their show.

I write
poetry to speak out
My writing is an extension of who I am
My escape from reality
I perform to get rid of it all
No-one knows my CP
I can be myself
My authentic self
Theresa Taylor
I write
Because it cleanses my soul.
Clears my mind out of that hole
It can bring me joy with lots of solace
As I know what it means to me
To be able to sing the words I’ve written
That they will see me smile
And not let me feel that
I'm not alive
My words I write
makes me want to shout to others
So that they can learn how meaningful life can be!

Where is my flow?
Where is my tribe?
Where is my voice?
Who is my guide?
An offer to write…
My rut says no,
My gut says go,
Join the collective
Express new feelings
Share new ideas
Come together
Found my flow
